Laminated Sealable Cardboard Trays

An innovative and environmentally-friendly solution to replace traditional plastic-based laminated sealable trays.

The frame and strength of these trays is provided by an FSC-sourced cardboard tray with a PE-EVOH-PE film laminated to create a high gas and water-vapour barrier.

Compared to a commonly used PP tray, this can reduce the consumption of plastic by up to 80%, while maintaining the tray’s sealability and suitability for modified atmosphere packaging.

The laminating film can be completely removed from the tray so can easily be recycled after use.
