PREMUMfresh45 shrink pouches with 9 layers and an excellent degree of transparency provide extended shelf lives for a wide range of products to be packaged. Particularly high shrink rates of up to 50% provide the packaged product with a very attractive appearance and reduce the chance of leakage. The increased EVOH content protects the packaged product from any gaseous substances that could compromise the quality of the product resulting in a longer shelf life.

Owing to their durability and high puncture resistance, PREMIUMfresh75 shrink pouches are the optimal packaging material for products with harder edges, such as smoked ham, whole chickens and meat with rounded bones. It is also a perfect material for packaging aging beef or veal. Characterised by high mechanical resistance, the level of safety with regard to transportation is specifically increased while the number of rejects due to physical impacts is greatly reduced.

The outermost layer of the pouches is composed of PET, which allows several pouches to be overlapped and simultaneously sealed without them becoming welded together, thereby significantly increasing the production capacity.

For Cook-In Strip and Cook-In Ship applications

The PREMIUMcook cooking bag was developed as a shrink bag for cooking meat products and at the same time enables the packaged food to be transported. This means that no repacking is necessary and labour costs are reduced. PREMIUMcook can be used either as a cook-in ship bag to protect products right up to the point of sale or as a cook-in strip bag for in-house processing.

Weight loss is minimized

Due to the unique material composition and the high shrinkage rates, PREMIUMcook reduces possible weight loss during cooking to a minimum. The packaged food can be presented in an attractive and glossy way.
